All poles have been installed and the wire installation is continuing at various locations in Penn Hills. A helicopter will be installing rope for wire pulling in the Bessemer section of Penn Hills on Wed October 28 , weather permitting.

Week of August 9, 2009

In the city of Pittsburgh, a helicopter will be utilized to pull in rope as preparation for wire stringing operations near the Vets Hospital off Leach Farm Road.
Crews will continue to set poles off Wilson Drive ,Garlow Drive,and Earlwood Dr in Penn Hills.

Week of July 19, 2009

Setting poles in Penn Hills near Jane Street and the Rest Land Memorial Park Cemetery. Foundation work continues near Hulton and Indiana Road in Penn Hills and access work continues off Hulton Road between the Penna. Turnpike and the railroad tracks.

Week of June 28, 2009

Contractor digging foundations on McCutcheon Lane and Wilson Drive in Penn Hills Township and will be setting poles near the Vets hospital in the City of Pittsburgh.

Week of June 21, 2009

Contractor is drilling and installing foundations on Grove Road, Suncrest Drive. and Mc Cutcheon Lane in Penn Hills Township. Pole installation will start near the Vets Hospital in the City of Pittsburgh. The Civil Contractor will continue to install temporary accesses to pole sites at various locations in Penn Hills.

June 9, 2009

Glenfield Drive in Penn Hills will be closed from approximately 8 am to 4pm to permit removal of a tower.

Week of June 7, 2009

The contractor will be drilling holes and installing pole foundations for poles #863 through #845. The location of the work will be in the area of the Veterans Hospital and Verona Blvd in the City of Pittsburgh and near Lincoln Road and on Jane St. in Penn Hills.
The contractor will also be drilling foundations in the city at Highland Substation and Sunset Memorial Park.

Week of June 1, 2009

The drilling for poles #858 thru #862 is scheduled to be completed. The poles are at St. Peters Cemetary and at the Veterans Administration Hospital properties in the east end of the City of Pittsburgh.

Week of May 24, 2009

The contractor will be doing site preparation work on Selvin Drive and Suncrest Drive in Penn Hills Township.
